Well there is no denying it, Christmas time is here, and in a few short days Santa and his reindeer will be gracing us with his presence (or presents), and lighting up the faces of little ones everywhere. This week I got the pleasure of making some little ones smile :)

Logan is 3 months old! These little ones are growing so fast! 

As part of Logan's session we added Mom and Dad in to get some awesome family portraits for the upcoming Holiday season. I can't believe it's right around the corner! Mom had a great location for us to shoot, it was perfect and provided us with numerous options. It was a gorgeous day, until the wind decided to blow. But, what do you expect in MN!

You should recognize this little cutie from a couple months ago. She's gotten big in those few short months, and look at all that hair!

Mom called and said she would like to do some Christmas card photos. I had a few ideas, and she was ready for anything. It was a little more challenging this time, as Audrina can now crawl...fast!

She was a trooper and let us try a bunch of different set ups with her. Those eyes, and that smile of hers, light up a room. Such a happy little girl!

While I was there Mom also asked me to take photos for her new website. She makes hair accessories and hats for little girls and boys. They are so cute! Make sure you check out Zia's Creations!

Introducing our Contest Winners!

Not too long ago I had a referral contest on my Facebook page, and the Cenzano's were the winners. What a wonderful family to have won the contest. Not only are the 2 boys completely adorable, but this family was so much fun to work with. Mom had some great ideas of her own and was willing to let me try anything I had up my sleeve. It was a brisk morning for the outdoor family shoot, so everyone had their smiles ready so we could head back to the studio to finish up with some portraits of the boys, and the grand finale Big Brother K couldn't wait for.....the cake smash!

For the finale of Brooke's senior portraits I found a great location I knew I had to try. Since she was willing to do anything I asked, I knew she was my girl :) I had some things I wanted to try, and I think they turned out great. Thanks again Brooke!

I have to start out by saying I absolutely love this family. They are just an amazing group of people. I've known them for what seems like forever, and have watched the two girls grow into beautiful young women. I felt absolutely honored when they asked if I would take some family portraits for them. This Mom definitely has her hands full with her three adorable sons! We have done her youngest, Laiten's pictures in the past, and for this session we not only did family portraits, but also included Laiten's 9 month portraits as well as her middle son Jace's 3 year portraits. I found a beautiful location along the lake and they were willing to try anything. The boys are full of spunk and had their own ideas of what they wanted to do, so we compromised and got some great shots! It was such a fun session. Thanks again Jorgensen Family!

Keep it in the Family

When I was asked by my Sister-in-law to take her family pictures I was both excited and, admittedly, a little nervous. I mean I strive for great photos with every session, but this was FAMILY, so I was extra critical of myself and wanted to make sure I got the perfect shot. THE ONE.

It was a chilly Sunday morning, and we met at the in-laws farm. Once we got the kids rounded up, and shoes on their feet we were ready. She had already scoped out a few places she wanted to try, so we loaded up in the golf cart (6 of us on a golf cart mind you) and were off to our destinations. We made a few stops around the farm, had quite a few laughs, and even had a couple animals that wanted to be included in the portraits as well.

All in all it turned out to be a beautiful morning for their session, and we got some great smiles out of all of them. It could have had something to do with the bag of jellybeans I had stashed in my camera bag, I guess we'll never know :)

It seems like just yesterday I was doing Gigi's newborn session, and now here we are doing her 6 month photos! Time sure does fly when you're having fun. Gigi was full of smiles and giggles, and her mom Kelsey was willing to try anything. It was a beautiful evening, we got some great shots, and had a lot of fun doing it!

I received an email asking if I could take some "last minute" family photos for this wonderful family. It started with the youngest daughter getting ready to head over the pond for a year of schooling. (A year in England?! Take me with you!) Then, there was their oldest finding out he and his wife were expecting their first child. These events made them realize they didn't have a recent family picture. So I was excited, to say the least, when they asked me to come to their home and take some family portraits. They were looking for something "casual, easy going, and fun". I think we delivered just that:

Back to School?
I can hardly believe it is that time already. Summer has gone by so quick! Once it FINALLY got warm enough to consider it summertime, the 4th of July was here and summer was half over. I guess that's part of living in Minnesota, we live for the 3-ish months of 'Summer'.
Well it looks like it IS that time already as area schools are getting ready to head back to the classroom. Along with that comes school picture day. AAGP Loves Squishy Newborns, and I had the pleasure of photographing an adorable little squishy newborn yesterday and we had a great time! Logan brought along his mommy and his grandma to join in on the fun, and we all had a great time. He wasn't very interested in sleeping, he wanted to take everything in, and kept a watchful eye on me and my camera! Logan is such a doll, and we got some great shots. I'm sorry it took so long to post these...it has been crazy busy, and can I say crazy HOT, here the past few weeks! We had fabulous weather for these pictures, and Brooke was willing to do anything that came into my head...crazy or not :)  She even willingly climbed into the freezing water and swatted bugs for me to get some great shots! Here are a few for you to drool over. She is gorgeous.
