It seems like just yesterday I was doing Gigi's newborn session, and now here we are doing her 6 month photos! Time sure does fly when you're having fun. Gigi was full of smiles and giggles, and her mom Kelsey was willing to try anything. It was a beautiful evening, we got some great shots, and had a lot of fun doing it!

I received an email asking if I could take some "last minute" family photos for this wonderful family. It started with the youngest daughter getting ready to head over the pond for a year of schooling. (A year in England?! Take me with you!) Then, there was their oldest finding out he and his wife were expecting their first child. These events made them realize they didn't have a recent family picture. So I was excited, to say the least, when they asked me to come to their home and take some family portraits. They were looking for something "casual, easy going, and fun". I think we delivered just that:

Their little girl turned 6 months, and that's what brought on the photo shoot, but we also had to do some family shots as well! Back to School?
I can hardly believe it is that time already. Summer has gone by so quick! Once it FINALLY got warm enough to consider it summertime, the 4th of July was here and summer was half over. I guess that's part of living in Minnesota, we live for the 3-ish months of 'Summer'.
Well it looks like it IS that time already as area schools are getting ready to head back to the classroom. Along with that comes school picture day. AAGP Loves Squishy Newborns, and I had the pleasure of photographing an adorable little squishy newborn yesterday and we had a great time! Logan brought along his mommy and his grandma to join in on the fun, and we all had a great time. He wasn't very interested in sleeping, he wanted to take everything in, and kept a watchful eye on me and my camera! Logan is such a doll, and we got some great shots.
